I live in the north of England with my family. It's a place that's known for its ghosts!

The city where I live has many old buildings, and there are stories about ghosts from Victorian times, or earlier haunting them. It's possible to go on ghost tours and all night vigils in some of the older buildings, but I haven't been brave enough to do so yet.

I love ghost stories where you find out why the ghost is haunting a place or person. I don't believe all ghosts are evil and are hanging around for revenge.

When I was young, there was an old house which was near the bottom of our school sports field. The curtains were always closed and we all knew it was a haunted house. Many of my friends were convinced they were pushed as they ran past that house. But, children do have good imaginations and I'm not sure whether all my friends were telling the truth. But - I'll never know for sure.
